An idea for buried waters project
what I imagine would be a dramatic presentation for the buried waters project is a visual cut through and peel back of present day San Francisco. This would reveal the past landscape under a mass of steel and concrete, cracks spidering through out the city. This would flip the disregard for the original system of nature on to the infrastructure for today. Ideally this would be made into a 3d model, whether it be digital or sculpture. this also could result in a series of site specific renderings of what it would look like close up.

http://www.mediafire.com/mind-adhesive
after making my proposal for a project of over laying, mixing, and comparing the landscapes and architectures of different countries, I didn't realize what i was getting into. playing around, I started looking at the SF landscape seeing what i can alter, city hall being my first target. Looking for inspiration I took a google earth trip to Las Vegas, where i found what the current subject of this project to be. scrolling around i found strangest landscapes within the los vegas suburbs. many of the neighborhoods where divided into even sections but within each section were many crazy shapes and patterns made of roads and cultisacs
